Bonjour! Je m’appelle Nicolas. I was born and raised in Lyon, France. Over the past 25 years, I have pursued a successful career as a pastry chef and chef, working in family businesses, fine dining restaurants, and even as a personal chef for the French ambassador in New Zealand. Despite my culinary endeavours, I never let go of my love for physical fitness and regularly practiced kickboxing, capoeira, yoga, hand balancing, and general fitness routines.
Around 6 years ago, I stumbled upon calisthenics, and it was love at first sight. I became an active member of the Wellington group, immersing myself in the community. I discovered how much joy and satisfaction I found in helping others on their fitness and sports journeys – witnessing their progress, breaking through plateaus, and achieving their goals ignited a fire within me. Motivated by this experience, I decided to make a career change in 2022 and pursued my personal trainer certification.
Today, I am thrilled to embark on my new journey! With three children of my own and being 45 years old, I understand the importance of balancing family life and personal wellbeing. Hand balancing, handstands, calisthenics, and bodyweight movement have become my niche, and I am thrilled to incorporate these elements into my training approach.
My aim is to help you find activities you truly enjoy and to relish the journey itself as much as the results and goals you strive for.
